first of many

This is the first of many wreaths we will be hanging this year. I call this one the little big wreath it is one of two large wreaths for the house but it is the smaller of the two. It will hang on the front of the house and now seeing it in the photo I may have to add something to it, the lights are off of course as the photo was taken in the day time. :) It seems to maybe need something more I will check it again after taking a photo with the lights on, I guess only time will tell if I add more or not :) Now off to work on the big big wreath,6ft is big right?

sick and blah

I'm back, I've been very sick I spent 10 days in bed with some kind of bug/fever. Then it took a while for me to feel like doing something other than just sitting I had no energy, not even enough to pick up my stitching. I think I'm over it now, but need to play catch up on things that need to be stitched/finished and put in the mail by the 1st of Dec.

My DH has also just been layed off for the 2 nd time this month and is looking for a new job, but with the way things are who knows when that will happen, I hope soon as we don't have a lot of savings to keep us going.

We are going to try to put up some Christmas lights up over the weekend if it stays dry. I hope it will make us feel a bit better about everything that is going on. I will post photos when we get them up.

Happy Stitching and have a safe weekend.

Alpaca farm visit

On Sunday with my DH & DD we drove to the Alpacas of America farm. They were closed but my DD had her camera an she took a few photos anyway. They are just so cool. Here is the link to the web site of the farm we saw on Sunday. http://alpaca1.com/ We plan to go again in the Spring when they are open for visitors.
